Frequently Asked Questions
How do I contact my childs teacher?

-
We ask that our parents email our staff members without hesitation. We are here to serve you, your child/children, and our community. Our school policy is that staff members must respond to parent emails within 24 hours of an initial contact. (exception: If your message is sent on Friday/close to Shabbot, we will strive to respond within 48 hours). Our teachers email addresses can be found on our website at http://www.thejewishacademy.us/staff

I'd like to meet with my child's teacher and/or other faculty member. How/When can I do this?

-
Teachers are available to meet with parents on appointment before school Monday-Friday & after school Monday-Thursday. Parents can schedule an in person or virtual meeting via email or request to info@tjaonline.com
Can I call my child's teacher directly?

-
Our school does not provide the personal cell phone information of our faculty/teachers. However, if you meet with a faculty member and they do agree to provide their contact phone number, you may contact them directly. However, if you do message a faculty member directly, we ask that it be done in a manor that is respectful of our teachers personal lives. Email is still the preferred method of communication, as it is the best means for teachers to manage a caseload of parent questions.
I have tried to reach a faculty member and have not received a response back in 24 hours. What do I do?

-
Please forward your email message to the Principal at mhecht@tjaonline.com or to the front office at info@tjaonline.com. We will help to provide you a prompt response.
